was the ideal place to unwind and recharge. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. The location was stunning, and there is a great pub a couple of minutes away. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were always available to answer questions and provide helpful tips about the local area. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Beautiful, well equipped property. Easy to find, and with a couple of pubs within 5 minutes walking distance. Very easy to communicate with the owners, who were lovely. Excellent meal at the Coach & Horses. We will most definitely visit again.

Had a feeling we would enjoy this cottage from moment I spoke to the lovely owner pam a few days before we arrived. What a lovely lady to which nothing is a bother. We were met by the lovely pam who showed us around & as they lived next-door said knock if we needed anything. Cottage is open plan with excellent quality furnishings, downstairs loo & we'll equipped kitchen. TV had Netflix which was a nice touch. Enclosed walled garden area ideal for keeping an eye on dogs or small kids. Upstairs 4 decent sized bedrooms (main bedroom is huge with Jack & jill bathroom to 2nd bedroom. Decent wardrobe space & drawers in each room. Decent family bathroom & option to have twin beds or super king in all but 4th bedroom which has to have 2 singles. Towels included & spotlessly clean throughout whole house. Nice touches included dog biscuits & few extras in the fridge. Owners thought of everything from decent parking space, bike wash & drying room (shed). Surrounding area is peaceful & scenic & Felt completely relaxed & at home. Even went on dog walk with pam & her adorable pooch gem, which is literally on the doorstep. Simply cannot recommend this place enough.

It was a lovely cottage. The family enjoyed everyday there, the children wanted to stay. The garden was lovely for the children to play in. We visited Scarborough beach, York Railway museum and Charlie's soft play area in Malton. We were staying four nights. The cottage was within easy reach of all of these places. It was so quiet and peaceful at the cottage going back to my home town made me realise what a noisy place I live in. I would highly recommend this cottage as a get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Friendly owners who were very helpful. There was nothing we didn't like. Lovely homely cottage in a really friendly village. Nice touch with welcome basket, great products and the place was decorated for Christmas. Had a fantastic steak meal Christmas Eve in The Coach and Horses and the cocktails were great value @ 2 for £10 and only short stroll away from the cottage. Would love to go back in the summer as the walled garden is beautiful and Rillington is also on a bus route going to Scarborough and would explore Malton which is a short drive away. Love Yorkshire and loved Granary Cottage

Ideal location: a cottage that was welcoming, cosy and ideal for a family gathering. On arrival we were shown round the cottage and then left to enjoy our weekend. Although the owners lived next door their was no intrusion, just a courteous and respectful approach on arrival and departure. The location was ideal for the Moors, the coast and York, so plenty of options to meet the needs of all ages.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could ask for, situated in the perfect position for the coasts of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington and city of York and not forgetting the stunning market town of Malton. Pam and Steve are fantastic hosts and where around for any advice we needed. With the Coach and Horses just down the road which we would highly recommend for dinner. The cottage was lovely and a real home from home experience. Even to the point we couldn’t get our 11year old son out of bed before 10am (can I bottle some of that and bring it home please 😁). We will certainly be back soon.

Our stay at Granary cottage was just lovely. Great village including a great pub with good selection ales and cocktails and lovely food which is actually owed by the owners. Theres a chippy, village shop and plenty to do near by within short walking distance. The cottage itself was baby/toddler friendly and beautifully furnished. We had a warm welcome from the owners who couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Lovely area, friendly locals. Gorgeous scenery. The cottage was comfortable, the owners were very welcoming and always helpful.

This is the best holiday cottage I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in and will be the bench mark for future holiday let’s. The accommodation was spotless and the owners Pam and Steve were so welcoming and friendly who went above and beyond in ensuring that our stay was stress free and relaxing. Extremely well provisioned with everything from a welcoming basket with wine, biscuits and quality filter coffee to a selection of toys and books for the kids to enjoy. The location is ideal with plenty to do in the local area and there is a great pub within walking distance serving amazing food. If you are looking for a luxury cottage to use as a base to explore this part of Yorkshire, this is the place!

We loved our stay at the Granary Cottage, lovely friendly owners (Pam and Steve) gave us a warm welcome on arrival. Very comfortable cottage, well laid out , ideal for our needs, comfy beds! Wifi a bit hit and miss, especially in the main bedroom at the front of the cottage. Appreciated the smart TV, Alex (aged 3) enjoyed watching Paw Patrol etc; she also appreciated the DVD player upstairs (watched Frozen!). Minor gripe, the kitchen equipment (cutlery, knifes, kitchen utensils) was poor - no sharp knives, knackered frying pan, could do with an upgrade as they let the cottage down, almost as though the owners weren't expecting anybody to cook (I'm a very keen cook!) Great location, we had a good meal at the Coach and Horses (also owned by Pam and Steve), plenty of good shops in nearby Malton, also access to train services (we went to York), also drove to Whitby, Castle Howard and (for Alex) Flamingo Land! Would love to stay here again (despite the awful weather, rained every day).
