This place was absolutely lovely! We came here so we were out of the way, and we definitely were. It was so peaceful and quiet. The place was perfectly cosy. The owners live next door, but there was no sign of them, except for their cars. There was privacy in the garden too. Their garden was next to ours, but there was a privacy screen on the Hot Tub, so you were completely private. The Hot Tub was beautifully clean and stayed nice and hot! Which is great considering it's November and cold. The sheets smelled nice and clean, everything felt fresh and clean. There were a few cobwebs, but it's a farmhouse, so what do you expect! There were horses and chickens, that we fed Carrots and sweetcorn to every morning! We also had some eggs given to us, they were super fresh and tasty! It was the perfect rest stop to our time time in York! Our only very small gripe was that there was no bath mat, we felt a little dodgy a few times in the shower when it was slippery. But it was hardly a dealbreaker! Other than that, PERFECTION! Great Value For Money!
