"The room was much better than what we expected from the outside appearance. The couch was very worn and uncomfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. With no windows that could open we had to keep the door open with the floor fans running to provide some air flow. As the day was cool, that was okay but it would be uncomfortable on the occasional hot summer day. There were some excellent places to eat close by. We enjoyed the Devil's Bath Brewing for dinner - excellent pizzas and beers."

Ocean View Retreat 1006 Jekyll on 2 Private Acres in Port McNeill

"This is a modern, clean and comfortable cabin with a well-equipped kitchen. The setting is lovely with ocean views, covered bbq area, patio and fire pit surrounded by a big lawn on a four acre property. It's only a 10 minute walk to the local beach. We set up our base here and spent four days exploring the area including visiting Alert Bay and the U'mista Cultural Centre, San Joseph Bay and the towns of Port McNeil and Port Hardy. Steve made the stay extra special by treating our teens to a ride on the side-by-side and a trip to the lake for a couple hours on the jet-skis. Definitely would stay here again."

"We had a fantastic stay at Orca Lodge last weekend! The views were absolutely spectacular, and the lodge was so convenient and incredibly well equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We loved our stay and would definitely return!"
