"Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. La localisation de la maison est parfait: à quelles minutes de marche du centre-ville et donc tous les commerces à proximité. La cuisine bien fonctionnelle contenait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner avec suffisamment de plats, verres et ustensiles. La maison était bien fraîche malgré le temps chaud et la piscine bien appréciée. Un endroit où il fait bon passer le temps!"

"Beautiful setting - the pictures do not do it justice. The art work inside was fabulous. Pool was great for teenagers and also those under 10. Loads of space for family get together and cooking facilities were perfect for us - 8 in total. Car is essential which was fine for us the nearby towns are very beautiful. We found the lake Pas des Ondes which was about an hour away with a spectacular drive which was organised with facilities and so beautiful, swimming with the mountains around...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mas César. L'appartement est très beau et conforme à la description. Il est d'une propreté irréprochable, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Les extérieurs sont très beaux et la piscine, dont nous n'avons pas pu profiter à cause du temps, est magnifique. Françoise, la propriétaire est très à l'écoute et Tiphaine, la gérante est elle aussi très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec le soleil c'est sûr. Je recommande vivement. Marie-Claire"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation surpassed our expectations. The property was lovely: very well equipped and wonderfully styled. The pool was wonderful and the extensive grounds were an unexpected bonus which was particularly loved by our dog. The hosts were charming, generous, interesting and available and did everything to make us welcome and ensure we enjoyed our stay. As we left we were already planning a return stay. This is by far my favourite rental to date in France....

"20 of us (plus 4 in the mobile home on the grounds) stayed here in this beautiful house for 3 weeks. There are loads of positives about this house - the bar area, the dining and sitting areas, the gorgeous fireplace, the outside spaces (especially for eating out) were fabulous. "This is a very well presented property in a lovely village. The house, garden and pool is very well situated and contains all of the facilities we needed for our stay in Gordes. The only problem was finding it. Our GPS did not recognise the address as the property is on a side street off the road. In addition the VRBO “direction link” sent us to the opposite side of Gordes. That said, the house is a gem and we would recommend the property."

"We were two families travelling together and the house was lovely, roomy and nicely located for exploring the Rhône Valley. We also enjoyed the rural location where the only noise was the cikades, in fact we only met other tourists when we went on sightseeing. We would love to come back."

"Josette and Andre are very nice and strive to be helpful. Very rural location and setting was as we expected. The air conditioning was adequate in only one bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms plus the one upstairs bathroom and the separate toilette have air conditioning from only one unit located on the stair landing. It was not sufficient. "It was a lovely spacious farmhouse with comfortable rooms for a multi-generational family. The owner, Jean Pierre, is very nice and responsive. Grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy life. The house is a quintessential very rustic French farmhouse, nothing elegant or fancy. The house is located away from town with only a three minute drive to the closest grocery store. So we were able to cook and buy anything we needed."

Amazing experience for young children
"After a lot of research, I had selected this property so that our young children (ages 3 and 6) could safely enjoy the outdoors. Specifically, the pool area is fenced in and there is a lovely shallow area for toddlers. The pool was not heated, but it was warm enough in June that our children absolutely loved the pool (perhaps slightly "refreshing" for adults). They also adored the beautiful garden and swingset. The covered terrace was divine for sitting and eating outside, with a perfect view of the garden and pool. The area was very quiet, but an easy drive to Avignon. The supermarket just around the corner is excellent. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary cooking and eating implements. There is lots of room in the dining and living area. The bedrooms were fairly spartan, but spacious and adequate for us, as we were mostly focused on being able to enjoy the outdoors. It was a pleasure communicating with Herve and his parents, who were absolutely lovely and welcoming at check-in and check-out."
