la ferme review

the location was superb and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The reason for 4 stars on cleanliness has to do with sulfur smell from shower water. The hosts were wonderful.

Family fun in isle sur la sorgue

We recently stayed at this property for a week with our family and it was a great experience. The property is spacious, well-located, and very convenient. We loved the privacy it offered and the fact that we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our vacation. What really made our stay special was the host, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even brought us fresh vegetables and some rose for the apero, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. The host's hospitality and the property's amenities made for a truly memorable experience.

Quintessential Rustic French Farmhouse

It was a lovely spacious farmhouse with comfortable rooms for a multi-generational family. The owner, Jean Pierre, is very nice and responsive. Grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy life. The house is a quintessential very rustic French farmhouse, nothing elegant or fancy. The house is located away from town with only a three minute drive to the closest grocery store. So we were able to cook and buy anything we needed.

Provence adventure

Spacious classic Provence farmhouse ideally located literally minutes from the beautiful town of L'isle-Sur-La-Sorgue. Just a short drive across the spectacular countryside to the numerous other picturesque Luberon villages. We spent virtually all of our evenings sitting by the pool, watching the brilliant stars appear as the sun set. Many potential gathering site options, inside and out. The two friendly horses in the owner's stable right next to the home added to the serene setting. The hosts, JP and Zoupette, were friendly and very gracious.

Superb place, location & host

Beautiful old farm house, just like one would dream. Spacious, stylish with every appliance, crockery and cutlery, cup and mug you would desire. Very beautiful garden with a fantastic pool, which is surrounded by lovely plants. Very great Boules pitch, also flood lit. House is very peaceful. You can walk to the picteresque town in 25 mins. Boulengerie is amazing, 15 mins walk on the way, on the 2nd corner, dont miss it , by far the best bread cakes pastries in the area,! Intermache supermarket is 6 mins drive (Super U is 5 mins, lower end). Jean Pierre the host is very charming and very responsive, he is a super super host. Lovely ! Highly recommend !

Well situated property with many amenities. The property is subdivided into 3 separate areas and can host multiple families holidaying together. The main kitchen is probably the best equipped of any property that we have stayed in, the grounds are spacious with a good sized pool. We did have several “problems” some of which were unavoidable but some of which could have been avoided with some due care and attention. However, every problem was addressed quickly and efficiently (including the purchase and delivery of a new fridge/freezer within 24hrs)! A point to note: the futon bed is in a “communal” area with use of a shower in one of the adjacent bedrooms. Also, the twin beds are in an open-plan lofted area above the main kitchen and living area with limited privacy. The checkout time of 9:30am felt rushed and was not honored by the hosts who arrived at 8:45am and started cleaning around us as they prepared for the next guests. Overall it suited our large group of 13 people and the town and surrounding areas are beautiful.

Long anticipated holiday

The house and surroundings were perfect for a family group who hadn’t holidayed together before, having lots of different separate areas was very useful. Great outdoor spaces for eating, as well as table tennis, boules and a lovely pool. The main living area was huge which was useful during the afternoon storms of which there were several! Lots of lovely memories now and encapsulated by Jean Pierre in a photo of our group - merci beaucoup!

Spectacular

We were a group of older friends who thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is an old stone farmhouse that has been updated, using a beautiful blend of old and new. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are modern, and having separate living areas is nice so we could spread out when needed. There are plenty of inside and outside eating areas to congregate, in shade and sun. The pool is fantastic, the boules court is fun, the horses lend a lovely touch, and the grounds are private and quiet. Two bicycles are available to ride to the town, about a mile away. JP is a great host, accommodating our requests. Highly recommended!

Perfection in Provence

JP and his wife were there to welcome us and show us around the property when we arrived. We were able to use Google Translate to communicate. The setting of this villa is pure perfection and an ideal place to host a large group. The outdoor space, where we spent much of our time, is dotted with seating areas, flowers, and gorgeous olive trees. The smell of lavender fills the air, and it is exquisite. The pool was a welcome refuge from the hot Summer days, and we spent a good deal of time enjoying it. The villa itself has a really interesting layout with 4 distinctly separate spaces. Given that we are 12 friends traveling together, the layout was absolutely perfect for us, as we each had our own separate space. If someone was sleeping in, you could gather in the opposite side of the house as not to wake them. The house is decorated just as you imagine a villa in Provence should be. Absolute perfection! Everything was wonderful and I do have just a few minor suggestions: Need a clothes dryer, build the cost of the towel usage into the rental rate, no using the blower when guests are enjoying the outdoor space, and MORE AC UNITS😊 We would have been happy to pay a bit more to cover the electricity costs. *Note: The villa loft has small children's beds. The villa has a close proximity to town and there is a large grocery store nearby where you can pick up all of your groceries and supplies. JP was kind enough to take us there (as well as to the train station to pick up friends). One of the ladies ended up getting a flat tire, and JP stepped in and called a AAA type company to come and change the tire. He also organized getting it fixed the following day. He definitely went above and beyond to help us during our stay and we were very appreciative! He was a good host and very prompt to respond to any questions or calls for assistance. I received excellent feedback from all of the ladies in our group, who said they absolutely loved the charm and setting of this villa. It was nearly impossible to measure up to the fabulousness of the villa rental from our last trip (in Tuscany), but this lovely villa certainly did. We all wished we could have spent two weeks instead of just one. So, instead of booking one week, book two. You can thank me later. Thank you for sharing your home with 12 crazy ladies! We made memories to last a lifetime.

Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbare Woche im Haus von Jean-Pierre. Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage mit einem sehr großen Garten wo jeder seinen Rückzugsplatz finden kann. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll zusammengestellt und der Grillplatz wurde jeden Abend genutzt. Jean-Pierre war ein super Gastgeber der uns bei einigen Dingen sehr geholfen hat. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und lädt zu Ausflügen ein. Resümee: Top-Woche!!

c etait une surprise pour nos amis , familles , pour feter les 60 ans de mon epoux , vous y avons passe un agreable sejour et organiser la journee dedier a mon epoux , merci a monsieur germain pour la photo de groupe , ce mas et tel que nous l avons parcouru sur le site , alors un jour nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir , le seul bemol c est de quitter le lieux trop tot ( 9h00 )

Un endroit de rêve pour repos et visites

Idéalement situé, ce gîte permet le calme et est au centre d'une région aux mille randonnées, aux mille visites. Le patrimoine est partout dans sa beauté mais aussi dans son histoire riche. Le gître se compose de 4 parties distinctes avec plusieurs parties communes. En période de pluie, le fait de devoir sortir pour rejoindre la très grande pièce de vie peut constituer un petit inconvénient. Par contre, les extérieurs sont garndioses et permettent à chacun de trouver son bonheur. Le propriétaire est très disponible : merci à lui.

Que de bons moments partagés dans cette superbe grande propriété décorée avec goût. Nous étions 2 couples 3 enfants/ adolescents, 1 bebe et 2 parents solo. Paradies auf Erden

Wir waren 10 Personen aus 4 Haushalten und für 12 Tage hier. Dank den Schlafzimmern mit eigener Dusche und WC, den verschiedenen Aufenthaltsräumen und dem riesigen, wunderschönen Garten mit all den einladenden Sitzgruppen und Liegen konnten wir uns bei Bedarf gut zurück ziehen, aber hatten auch gut Platz, um zusammen zu sein, zu essen, diesen wunderschönen Ort zu geniessen. Jean-Pierre und Zoupette sind offen und sehr unkompliziert und bei Bedarf immer da für uns (oder ihr Sohn bzw. ihre Tochter). Auch das Städtchen ist ein Bijou, die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten. Von A-Z ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!

Une très belle semaine dans un endroit très calme

Magnifique demeure au décor très soigné et des beaux matériaux. Beaucoup d’espace, nous étions pourtant 6 couples. Équipement parfait. Immense pièce à vivre, très sympathique. Accueil et contact des propriétaires excellents, très attentionnés. Magnifique jardin, terrain de boule, immense piscine, mais qui n’était pas chauffée contrairement à ce qui est mentionnée. Idéalement placée , tout proche de l’Isle sur la Sorgue. On y retourne sans hésitation !

Eine wunderbare Zeit in einer traumhaften Lokation
