"The staff at this hotel were extremely welcoming and spoke very good English. The hotel is in a quiet, relaxed area of Tokyo, and only one stop away from Ikebukuro station."

"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"I had a great stay at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku! The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (on clear days) and we could also see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s light show at night, which was such a cool bonus.
The location is super convenient — really close to metro lines, tons of shopping, and all the nightlife Shinjuku has to offer. It made getting around and exploring Tokyo really easy.
Breakfast was excellent with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. Whether you’re into traditional Japanese breakfast or prefer something more familiar like eggs and toast, they’ve got you covered.
The staff were also amazing — really friendly and helpful the whole time. You can tell they take pride in their service.
Definitely planning to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend it!

"Spacious room for 3 people. Clean hotel and room. Plenty of amenities like liquid soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, hair dryer, instant coffee and tea, microwave, refrigerator, and a safe in room. Free washer, dryer, and detergent in the basement level but dryer can take a long time to dry so don't overstuff. Friendly and helpful front desk staff who can speak English. 24 hours front desk even though online says limited front desk. We were able to check in at 2:00am at night with a front desk staff. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores close by and almost all take credit cards. Two train stations within 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Used baggage delivery service from the hotel. They charged by the size and weight of the luggage. We paid about $75 USD for three large luggages. The luggage arrived at our Kyoto hotel with no issue. We took the bullet train to Kyoto so recommend to travel light. Should request front desk for baggage delivery service a few days in advance. There is a luggage storage area in the front lobby. The area is very safe. Recommend this hotel. "
