"My husband and I were treated very warmly by the staff at the Makati Shangri-la and appreciated their hospitality and lovely treats prepared in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Our room was extremely comfortable and the design quite beautiful. The afternoon tea was enjoyable as well as the abundant breakfast buffet. We did find the sorbets too sweet, however, and would suggest that the sugar content be lessened. Also, homemade yogurt would be a better and healthier option at breakfast rather than the store-bought yogurts. Nevertheless, we loved our overall experience and plan to return again. "

"Extremely hospitable staff with good location as well. It is beside a huge shopping mall with plenty of shops and things to do as well. Only issue is when we tried to contact the concierge regarding some local tours, they kept on telling us to check with the tour agency next door which is inside the mall. I dont think thats what a concierge is for, to be always directing tourist elsewhere. "
