"Our apartment exceeded expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, with well-equipped kitchen and furnishings. The 24-hour staff were extremely polite and helpful. The location felt very safe and was within a 4-minute walk of the St John's Wood tube station as well as shops and restaurants. There were a few things, though, that could have been better: 1) the beautiful ceramic tile floors in the shower we're extremely slick and with nothing to hold on to could be quite dangerous; 2) the combination washer and dryer was confusing to use and impossible to open once it was completed--even after going online and consulting the user's manual, we had to get help from the staff to open it, which required using an emergency manual unlock procedure; 3) the air conditioning is apparently controlled from the front desk and needed to be set quite cold in order to be comfortable under the provided comforter.
