The staff are amazing - so friendly, helpful and professional! The rooms are bright and comfortable, however, there is nothing Thai about them - not a single ornament or picture. The grounds are huge with plenty of shade but sadly the pool is too small and extremely noisy (lots of children) for the number of guests, which is the biggest disappointment.

The property was immaculate. Well designed, maintained and beautiful. The staff was friendly, ultra respectful, vigilant, extra attention to detail, and do their absolute best. Amazing outdoors

Renaissance Phuket is a great hotel with an amazing outdoor space and swimming pool. It does need renovation in the rooms and bar area and a bit more attention to cleanness. Some of the staff are really good with a great sense of service. We have been coming for years, but we can’t help to notice that the service and amenities are going down every year. No more welcome plate or snacks, no more turn down service, food in room service is not to standard, they bring food without any protection on it on some occasions. Overall we love this place but it needs to go back to its original standard.

I loved our stay. The hotel is very convinient, rooms are fantastic. Very clean. The gym is the best I have seen and very unique for the hotel. Starbucks with protein shakes is unexpected and very great addition. The territory is cozy, which makes hotel stay pleasant. Only is the food is Ok, Sand restaurant has much to offer but the taste is average, would be great to improve it :) Overall I will definitely recommend the property and will back myself! Love it ☺️

For us the Villa with own pool is the best option to go for. Last time we stayed we had breakfast and diner included whereas this time we went for all meals plus two cocktails each day and a treatment each in the Spa. Having all meals was a mistake as we found that we couldn’t eat everything but for those with a large appetite it would be worthwhile. We would like to mention the lady who made up our Villa every day. Her name was Amm and she was a treasure being super efficient.

Great Experience

The hotel is fairly close to the airport. It's in the northern side of the island, near Mai Khao. A very calm place unlike the old town and Patong. The staff is quite kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options to choose from. Rooms are large and well maintained, cleaned up daily. AC is working without any issues. The beach is calm. Beware the jellyfish, sometimes they get all over the place. But during our stay, it was only one day that there were jellyfish around. Sea is warm and there is no stones, rock whatsoever. It was a joy to watch the sunset. There is also a shuttle service to the nearby mall, where you can buy stuff, eat and rent bike, buy tours etc. Totally recommended.

The property itself was everything you’d expect from Marriott. However, there was a chicken and rooster habitat just beyond a wire fence about 20ft from our room’s front door. The rooster’s concept of time was just as screwed up as ours with their faint crowing. When we first arrived there was a very strong urine smell that we determined was coming from the rug under the bed. Once we notified the front desk, they immediately came and, per our request, removed the rug entirely. The staff was very friendly and took care of it very quickly. Once settled in, we took a nap and called the front to see if we could get some coffee delivered to us because it was 5 am before their breakfast opened. However, we were sorely disappointed to be given 2 instant coffee satchels accompanied by 2 instant creamer satchels on a tray. Aside from all this, the room was immaculate with heated toilet seat and a bidet. The bathroom itself was enclosed in a half glass wall with venetian blinds. Our room was always stocked with the complimentary water bottles. And their breakfast buffet was phenomenal! The servers were all on point with taking our drink orders, taking our plates and assisting where they could. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Last but not least, we had friends staying at another hotel next to us and upon meeting them for dinner and breakfast at their hotel, we were grateful that we stayed at the Renaissance by Marriott.
