"The room itself very clean and the bed was decent. Pillows could be better. The pillows were on the smaller slide and slim. Shower had great water pressure. The negative was the hallways. Strong smell of pot and medicinal weed. Hard to leave that behind these days but it was prevalent. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast. No elevator to upper floors was a negative. Floors were hot although the air conditioners were working. Overall good enough for a weekend stay for the price."

"The staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Check in was a breeze. The hotel looked brand new even although the building is a hundred years old. we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was first class. We arrived late and left early so didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. Free parking right out front is always a bonus. Gorgeous little town with lots of quirky shops and restaurants. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend this hotel."

"This place is absolutely beautiful! The rustic decor pairs well with the wooded setting. It's adequately equipped with everything you need. It's very clean and well kept. I asked a favor of a 1 hour earlier check in time and Sam was gracious enough to give us check in 3 hours earlier. I just can't say enough nice things. Definitely top notch!"

"The property was very cozy, accessible and close to everything in the Mahomet area - Mexican restaurant, Schnuck, laundry and parks. The house was clean and well kept. The host was always available and answer all my questions from the date I made the reservations in a timely manner. Highly recommended. Definitely will stay again if in Mahomet."
