The Negative was coming off cruise the hotel was not prepared to handle the customers that were checking out or checking in. They wanted to charge $90 for early check in before 2pm. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. "Great stay at Maitai Express Tahiti! The staff was excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location is perfect—close to the ferry pier, rental car agencies, and the local market. Private parking was also available, which made getting around very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tahiti!!"

"We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place."
