"Small newer bungalows with an eager staff to please. Very quiet property. Kitchens in rooms so you can shop and make your breakfast at least. A little pricey ( but So is everything in FP) on the breakfast that you can pay for. Very quiet area of the island. Maybe I've been spoiled around the world but the reef on Moorea is not the greatest for snorkeling"

"Overall, this is a great place to stay in Moorea. Location is central to restaurants, markets and beaches. Resort is very well maintained and clean, restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere. Food is prepared well and service was excellent. Our 2 bedroom was situated perfectly with multiple views of the bay and ocean views providing endless photo opportunities. "We were on a cruise which ended in Papeete. We decided to spend an additional 2 nights in the area and chose Moorea due to proximity by ferry. I researched hotels and chose Hibiscus due to the excellent ratings and price. The hotel exceeded my expectations. "I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...
