"Friendly staff, place was very clean and always smelled good, pool was just the right temp and hot tub was hot. Quiet and peaceful and the room was nice. Free complimentary breakfast."

"Loved the staff - so friendly and the breakfast guy was really helpful! I feel that ice should be available on every floor and not just 1 and 3, but overall the room was clean and fresh smelling, and there's a good, casual restaurant within walking distance. Also the hotel seems very quiet so we appreciated a good nights sleep! We didn't find any option for Netflix (weird), but everything else was lovely!"

"Nice neighborhood, great location. We loved all the big beds with TVs in every room. Master bathroom was a little tight but not a problem at all. Very clean and comfortable! "

"This was a nice hotel. Fluffy towels, clean room that smelled nice and great breakfast. Front desk staff and the lady that makes breakfast couldn't be nicer. For breakfast you can make your own waffles, there was scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, yogurt, granola bars and trail mix stuff. The coffee was a lil weak but still had good flavor. Its close to places to eat and have a date night. As some of the other reviews said, it does need some updates but some updates have been done. There is a bit of paint chipping around the tub and in the tub- just don't eat it and you will be fine. There isn't much light above the sink so putting on your make-up is a lil bit of a pain. Last thing, the TV is smaller then we would have liked. We are coming back to the area in 2 weeks and would stay here again, but we are bringing our dogs and they said that they no longer allow dogs. This is a nice quite place to stay for a decent price. "

""Julie and Jeff were hands down some of the best people on this planet! The amount of time they must've put into stock, decorate and sustain such a comforting place is motivating. Their attitudes were far above and beyond what you would expect from hosts. Radiating joy and support at any chance encounter that happens. Their place has everything you need and more! After a long day traveling and working, getting back to their place was like a reset and recharge. Probably the best place I have ever stayed at- not just because of the amenities, but because of them! Very responsive and they even recommended a great place to eat that I will never forget (beef brisket a Joe's KC BBQ). The area is not something you will see many places in the US. Family neighborhoods, kids playing in the street (drive slow) and smiles all around. What a joy to have that in my memory and I wish them the very best""
