I've been going to the par since I was a kid. Our family vacations in my early years was Mom, Dad and my Sister camping either in an umbrella tent or out of the back of a Chevy station wagon. This is above the main or Big Clifty Falls.

Safe for the whole family. Best time to go is late February early March.
A park in my own "backyard" - was great to visit the day after a heavy rain when the falls were flowing.

Nice balcony view overlooking town and river. The inn is a bit outdated but clean, the staff was nice, and Madison is a nice place for a weekend getaway.
