Staff was great. Definitely an older hotel but you couldn’t beat the price. Was out for work so basically just showered and slept. Room was clean and the towels replaced and bed was made the 2 days I stayed. Was gone before coffee and breakfast so I don’t know he opened that by 8am. Plenty of restaurants right around the area. Good location.

Clean simple comfortable very affordable

We have stayed at the recently renamed Jackson Hotel several times we're always impressed by the fact that it is clean clean there's plenty of pillows lots of towels and the staff is always extra friendly and helpful and did I mention that the rates are outstanding

Manager was extremely helpful and polite. My check-in was quick and easy. The room is clean and smells nice. I have a big warm bed. I'm looking forward to a comfortable night stay here at Hotel Jackson.

Close to WIU

If you need to stay at a hotel close to WIU this is a good place to go! The service is accommodating and for a small fee we were able to check in early. If you’re looking for a squeaky clean stay then look somewhere else as you will feel like you’re roughing it here. For the cost and the location it works.

For a one night stay it wasn’t the best. The bathroom was nasty and toilet didn’t like flush. They need new bedroom outfits put on the beds because those were all stained up. The breakfast selection was slim. I don’t recommend this place with kids or elderly.

This is a very rundown and neglected property. The room was dirty, the shower was old and too low, and everything smelled of smoke. There’s no building security and the door from the outside was unlocked 24/7.
