"Wished we were staying longer! The room was clean and comfy, with a nice hot shower. The staff were very helpful and flexible with everything, including giving us breakfast to go and letting us leave our bags after check out. Great value for the price as well, I would highly recommend."

"Muy bien siempre uso casa andina"

"I wonder if every hotel in Machu Picchu town is this way: old facilities, shabby rooms, bad hygiene (especially sheets and towels) and overly stingy with expensive prices. Even water, toothbrushes and toothpaste cost extra and each person can only get one big towel which is extremely ridiculous. The noise insulation is poor and some staff are unfriendly. I expected a fairly big hotel but got a small, unprofessional one. I was really disappointed. A couple of staff were welcoming and helpful —...

"Air conditioner could be better. Other than that everything else was perfect!"

"Nos encantó el hotel, instalaciones, amenidades, servicio , comida, actividades y sobre todo la cercanía con Machu Picchu inmejorable! Gracias a todo el staff : Alex, Joshimar, Alex de la entrada , Elizabeth . GRACIAS!"

"Location is excellent and is just a minute walk to the Bus station, Train Station and center. The AC was leaking water for the first 2 nights and was not working on the 3rd night when they shifted me to a new room. A floor fan was provided on request. The hotel is located right in front of train tracks and I have heard train go through a couple of times after 10 pm but it's not too bothersome if your room is situated on the stream side. Overall, I felt the price was too high for the quality of...

"Disappointing Stay – Better Options Available for the Same Price The hotel was pretty basic and did not offer good value for the price. The staff were not available 24/7, so whenever we had an issue, we had to wait for someone or go all the way down to the restaurant and ask them to contact the hotel staff. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned, and the toilet had issues with the flush, which made the stay less comfortable. Overall, the experience was disappointing. For the same price,...

"Excelente servicio."

"Highly recommend El MaPi. Logistically convenient, a very easy walk from train station, and close to the bus station heading up Machu Pichu. Hotel has an earthy/ nature oriented feel, very relaxing. Staff are very friendly, extremely helpful. Room was nice, clean, seemed fairly new/ updated. Restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast, fun bar for after dinner. I didn’t visit the spa, but am sure it was great too."

"Bueno relación calidad/precio"

"really nice place. minutes walk to the main ticket office to get Machu picchu and the bus. There is even a nice overview of the village just to the left of the street as you get to the intersection at the top. the whole place does not take long to walk the whole village. There are no cars, but everything is less then 10 minute walk from there. lots of little things to see, and great street food, restaurants....just be aware that the train ride back at least for us was delayed getting back to...

"El personal es muy amigable y amable. Siempre listos a ayudar."
