"The best part of our stay was the bedroom location. We had shakara room which is in the front and most private. There are rooms that have to walk either across the temple for shared bathroom or right next to the bathroom where there may be more noise. Not a fan of the only one bathroom. And water provided would have been nice. Showers have to be scheduled on time board since it is shared. Nice host and clean. Towels need improvement. Quality and quantity. "

Bathrooms were shared as it provided a traditional Japanese experience but as someone who would generally avoid a shared bathroom this was more part of the experience than a drawback. "Lovely hosts make our stay a wonderful and memorable experience! Even though location is ten minutes away from main town, host will drop you off and pick you up whenever you need.
