"Wonderful stay here! Stayed in August, air conditioning worked perfectly. Easy check in/out. We had luggage delivered to the hotel from Kyoto, easy to pick it up from the front desk. Staff were wonderful. Hotel room felt newly renovated. The kids loved the bunk beds. Adequate facilities to prepare food- the kitchen area is very nice! Bathroom facilities were lovely- my husband loved the shower pressure, the kids loved the deep bath. The area is right next to the train/bus station, but we were not bothered by road noise. The 2nd floor has laundry facilities, I was able to use them twice during my stay. We drove to Takayama, there is a car park across the road, and we were lucky to get a space all times bar one. We parked in the station (on the other side of the tracks)- it's cheap overnight. We then moved the car back to the normal car park in the morning before the price shot up. "
