"It was everything we were looking for. Quite, great scenery. The dome was clean and was equipped with anything you would need or want...except tea. Lots of coffee but no tea. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. "

"This place is perfect for groups of all ages with lots to do, an abundance of beautiful views, gathering spaces and quiet places.The accessibility to the Bras D'Or Lake is wonderful even our 88 yr old father could drive down to the beach area and take in the beauty! The home has many thoughtful games, books and finishing touches to make the place ideal for a gathering. We loved the large table our big family could gather around. The teens loved the pool table and dart board and the seniors in our group enjoyed the accessibility of the main floor area (large rooms, walk in shower etc). The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. We really enjoyed these exceptional homes and would come back in a heart beat! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at your quintessential mountain log cabin! From starting each day with coffee on the deck to relaxing in front of the fireplace in the evening, it was everything we hoped for! The location was perfect! Very peaceful, serene and private.Beautiful views of Bras d'or Lake from the deck. A perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee, evening cocktails and fantastic star gazing!The cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy! Very well equipped with everything we needed and more. "Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage."

"My stay was perfect. Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. The bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa and there were some really great finishes in the cottage to give it a luxury feel but still with the Cape Breton vibes I grew up with. It was so peaceful and I loved spending my days on the private dock and then going back in the evening to get my sunset pictures (Bras d’Or Arm of Gold). The staff were exceptional. I stayed a week so saw them come and go and they checked in periodically to see if I needed anything and were very pleasant. I needed to get away from my life and spend some time alone with just the sounds of rustling trees and the water lapping on the shore and this place was the perfect choice!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!"
