"We had only 2 nights and were fairly busy, so didn't get to enjoy surroundings and the property so much, but if you're looking for a place to crash, do some surfing, walks on the beach, have a great coffee from the coffee truck right across the road, watch something on netflix when it's all done, this is your spot! "Lovely stay in Diamond Bay, unfortunately the weather didn’t let us enjoy the fabulous view as much as we would have like, but it was still a magic view sitting watching the world go by. It was a bit of a drive into Christchurch, but the house had everything we needed for us as a combined family. The house heating worked well and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a great experience showering with a view within the master ensuite. "

"The property owner communicated with me right away that the property was not available “due to ongoing maintenance issues.” However Bookabach/VRBO still charged me for the visit. When I contacted the host about this charge, I did not receive a response. I wonder if this listing is a scam. Fortunately VRBO refunded my money today, but I should not have had to take time out of my life to rectify this. "
