"Very friendly welcoming staff, good value for money. Close to the beach and tram stop across the road. Hotel needs some maintenance apart from that not bad with a decent breakfast."

Clifton Arms Hotel

"The food was excellent and the hotel very clean. However, the room was really hot making sleep very difficult. I did have a fan and perhaps I would have been more comfortable with a second fan. It was very difficult as the night time temperatures the two nights I stayed at the Clifton Arms Hotel, were extraordinarily high. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. I would stay at this hotel again."
The Imperial Hotel

"As regular visitors to the Imperial Hotel we thought that this was an Inferior room to what we have had in the past, 1 no safe 2 Window did not have an opening on a hot day for fresh air so always steamed up 3 My wife fell out of the bed during the night because the mattress was larger than the base and sloped over the edge off base 4 The hand Gel in the bathroom had no Lather as it looked to be diluted like water. When we reported the above to Ricky on Reception he said that the room 238 was one of the better rooms. Also not amused by the Parking charge of £14.00 per night which I found Extortionate from past stays. We came away not Happy Bunnies"

"Location and facilities were excellent. This was our second visit to the property. There are areas which are tired and a little shabby, there are also areas that could be cleaner. Overall, these minor things wouldn’t deter us from re-visiting in future."
