"Old place, moldy and with cockroaches in the room. Facilities only parking and tv, wifi doesn't connect. They stop £50 on the card in case of damage, but it can't get any worse. I'll try to post the pictures. There was also a bench at a smoking area outside, but they said it was too much and after a day they moved it to another location I only recommend it to enemies."

"Lovely and cozy stay! It’s easy walking distance to the beach, the pier, and restaurants. The manager wasn’t in when we went last minute and the staff was alarmed that we were able to make a reservation. They were still able to accept our reservation and made it a pleasant stay (esp because it was one night). The rooms were well decorated and bed was comfortable. They have some toiletries if you’ve forgotten yours. If you have a car, you can ask for a parking permit to avoid paying the public...

"The Cavendale was very clean, in an excellent area for visiting the beach as it was just over the road. I had a room with a beach view but you sometimes get a view of the port area it’s not a commercial port. There’s no worry. It’s just a good view as well. "I can't fault the Hotel except for the large number of stairs to climb. we were on the second floor At 68 I had not anticipated the climb everytime I went back to the room. I must add the Breakfast was good but yet down more stairs This must not be taken as a bad review but I would urge others to take this comment into consideration"
