"This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in The Bede room which was beautiful, cottage style in decor with the bathroom including whirlpool upstairs. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, food was excellent. There is are also great outdoor spaces. Hollie, the owner was the perfect hostess. This a lovely, pretty little village which also has another pub. This too has a restaurant and we ate there our second night; again the food excellent but very different to the Old White Hart. It...

"Lovely accommodation in middle of the town, free parking, room large and very comfortable bed. Food in pub was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was cooked to order band lovely"

"Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area."

"Very helpfull staff. Evening meal and breakfast were exceptional. No draft beer in the bar. Food and drink prices a bit high. Pre stay admin generated by expedia was atrocious."

"Used this as a base for an activity we were doing close by. Was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice to use the restaurant on site. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again."

"Beautifully clean and well presented hotel. Every member of staff are very welcoming, professional, helpful and make you feel that you're at home. The breakfast is very good and evening meal menu is also very good. Either the bar or the restaurant are available to eat. The swimming pool and spa is available during your stay. Would certainly recommend😄"

"Always great easy walking to town centre. Local amenities. Stayed here a few times now. Only comment restaurant not open on a Monday evening and most local eateries are closed"

"Excellent hotel, room was very clean, both dinner and breakfast food was lovely"

"Super stay, extremely comfortable room and delicious breakfast."

"Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...

"Beautiful setting and very welcoming by Sam. Great breakfast and comfortable beds."

"A one night deal very competitively priced for free breakfast with unlimited good coffee. Perfectly fine room/bed with lots of ‘walk around’ space. Been before, will come again."

"Terrific VFM, comfortable, warm & super breakfast (portions too big for oldies)."
