View / No View - Pictures are clearly old
Luray has been a frequent place for a weekend getaway, girls trip or simply work from home / away from home. So I like to try new places as my favs book up during the summer. I love the water and the views I get in luray so I always book a place on the river. the first picture you see here of the table on the deck overlooking the water is no where near accurate. there were so many trees and a power line blocking the view I wondered how many years ago did they take that photo. Photos are not in true state of property, Which should have been my first red flag no enough pictures of the property. Also....The deck looks like it hasn't been swept in months cob webs all over so bad I had to clean off the deck so my friends could enjoy. No cell service is fine but they got no internet and the landline only only works if you have a calling card, cant even call someone in MD. There is only one window AC so hot as hell in the bedrooms. No vent in the bathroom so you will really die in there. Almost passed out trying to wash my hair, had to leave the bathroom door open while I showered. Couch smells weird and not clean, rather to sleep on the floor. Outside the view of course was bad but to add to it the grill was nasty not cleaned in a while, the gutters were overflowing with tree branches. looks like the only people take care of the place is guest before leaving. and there is no real access the the river you would probably want to go down to a fisher hole or the Outfitter to go rafting. Only good thing about this property is the Hot tub worked and was clean. I would not recommend this place or stay here again.
