"Great location. Food in Italy is overall terrible, but there’s a great little cafe just outside our family suite that had pretty decent food. There’s a bike shop next door that allowed us to rent 5 bikes for our family last minute for an hour and bike along the renaissance wall, which is a super easy flat bike ride. The Lucca train station is a 10 minute easy walk. The family suite has two sofa pull out beds that turn into approximately king size beds, and there is a king size bed upstairs. Two bathrooms. Overall, our family of 5 fit comfortably. "

"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "

"This is a fantastic, small modern hotel. It is right across the street from an entrance to the walled city and has great on site parking. The staff is so nice and service simply excellent. If you are looking for a great place as base to see Lucca and the surrounding area and want modern charming accommodations, you should stay here. "

"A lovely modern, clean and very comfortable apartments. 10 min walk from the station and a 5 min walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable, rooms had great aircon and electric shutters to block out all light. Very stylish, clean, and spacious for a family of four. Would stay again and again - loved it!"
