"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property with the kids. The house was spacious and comfortably accommodated the whole family, with fantastic facilities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The property was exactly as advertised and is set in peaceful, quiet surroundings, while still being in a great central location close to everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic place for a family getaway and one we would happily recommend to others!"

"Great property with 3 x twin bed rooms, 2 with ensuite plus additional queen room to accommodate 7 adults. Good location to access great restaurants and boutique wineries. Staying within the Cibtage golf course was also a plus for accessing facilities plus cafe fir great coffee and Nineteen for casual dining and takeaway close by."

"The property was great! Lots of room and the fireplace, fire pit, and the spa were great perks. It was very clean and well stocked. Use of the resort gym and pool were also fantastic. We were unable to access the compendium with house instructions, unfortunately, which meant we couldn’t figure out how to heat the spa. We called a few times for instructions but nothing seemed to work. By the time we realised it wasn’t heating again, it was after-hours. This was disappointing as that was a main draw! I had also called about purchasing firewood and was told the office would close at 6. We stopped in, on our way to dinner next door, at 5:50pm and it was locked up. Luckily my husband is resourceful and scavenged for wood along the road side. I would definitely stay here again, but would encourage improvements in communication and customer service from the host."

"A lovely comfortable property to stay with a group of friends, we had everything we needed to be able to stay comfortably in the property, beds were very comfortable, clean linen, gas fire was a nice touch and the fire pit was relaxingPoints to mention* The kitchen literally has one PowerPoint* A late request of beds to be separated comes at a cost of 155 to do this which is crazy expensive * Main lounge room blind had a large tear/hole in it * Due to not being able to have cars parked in the street we moved our cars into the garage inside the garage was a massive plague of dead ants I’m talking thousands of dead ants which really smelt terrible* We asked at reception to buy firewood for the fire pit at the property the minimum amount is charged at 65 they don’t have an option for smaller quantities.Location of property is amazing and central to everything in the hunter valley, neighbours were lovely and the kangaroos were everywhere"
