"The apartment is brilliantly located just outside the city walls, but within a very short walk to the nearest gate into Lucca. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Communication with Renata was fantastic. She was very helpful before we arrived and met us at the apartment - so warm and friendly :) She was on hand with questions during our stay, and her daughter kindly helped us with taxis. I would highly recommend the apartment and we will come back."

My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. "We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"Does exactly what it says on the tin. Location is good. Just right outside train station and 5minutes walk to the walls. Rooms a bit dated but good size and functional with a mini fridge. Shower was fine and room keeping did a good job each day. Breakfast was average but think it was free so can’t complain. Bread, hard boiled eggs, selection of pasties and selection of cereals.
