The property is in a great location, free parking nearby and the mattress is good. Your experience will depend on the room- rooms 8,9,10 are in the attic and I suspect all are very poor. Our bedroom had most unhygienic shower, shower head was disgusting, sheets and towels in holes, filthy on and under bedside table. Hot, uncomfortable- in October- with no aircon, so had to open velux above bed. Was raining so rain kept raining in. Very loud traffic. Fridge sounded as though was fire risk, made terrible noises. Looks nothing like the photos. No kettle. Poor. Rooms downstairs looked much better. Not having reception wasn't a problem, but if there had been someone there I suspect they'd have been more aware, and perhaps some of these issues would have been dealt with? Anyway enjoyed Lucca.

Lovely hotel with good location

Very clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. Booked a table for us in the local restaurant which served amazing italian food! So thank you for a great experience!

Lovely place overall, good distance from the walled city of Lucca, responsive and attentive staff. Could not figure out how to operate the blinds, narrow toilet.

Very good value for the price. Room looked like the pictures. Some things were not mint condition, for example cracked sink and small stains in the bottom of the toilet, nothing that bothered us though. When we arrived there was a hair in the toilet even though it had a "cleaned" seal. Everything else was clean though. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and convenient terrace. Good location, not at all an issue to be situated right outside the Lucca walls. Did not receive the check in instructions even though my contact info was updated in the app, but the host was quick to help us with this. Majority of communication was through an AI on WhatsApp which sometimes confused things, but host was quick to sort this out as well. Could stay here again if we came back.

Cute and quaint rooms in a great location, next to the walls of Lucca. The area is quiet at night and safe to walk. Check-in was a little tricky, but we figured it out. Rooms were clean. No AC, so may be uncomfortable in the warmer season.

A disappointing experience according to price and pictures of the place. The must disappointing was the air conditioning. We arrive to two rooms were the temperature was 37 degrees and the old air condition didn’t work probably. I would not recommend this place

We rented two rooms at the hotel. It is close to the old city and on street parking is very close. One of the rooms air conditioning didn’t work so was a bit warm. The rooms are fine and had the things needed for a one night stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay, especially considering we paid around £250 for one night. The room looked nothing like the photos on Hotels.com and felt very misleading. The biggest surprise was that the shower was literally in the bedroom! The room also had numerous signs of poor maintenance, including damaged walls, chipped paint, exposed screw holes, and a loose door fitting. The air conditioning was set to 26°C and barely cooled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and better attention to detail. Overall, the property did not match its online presentation and did not represent good value for money. We would not choose to stay here again.

La chambre était calme et propre. Bon emplacement. La réception se fait à distance et ce n’est pas la bonne chambre qui nous a été attribuée au départ. Les lits des enfants n’étaient pas faits et je n’ai eu le message de la bonne chambre que dans la nuit. Climatisation trop juste en cas de forte chaleur (36-37 degrés extérieur).

Niente di che : affitto di una camera senza mai incontrare nessuno : una mail che ti dà un codice e nulla più. (Per il messaggio whatsapp promesso è stato necessario chiamarli last minute!!) La location è OK, appena fuori le mura di Lucca, un breve cammino vi porterà in centro e la zona è tranquilla. Ma non esiste NESSUN servizio : un frigorifero in camera (e magari una bottiglia di acqua in omaggio) sarebbe stato gradito.. Il guaio vero è l'aria condizionata (a muro) piuttosto debole, non raffresca di sicuro e tende ad aumentare l'umidità. Colazione non offerta nelle possibilità. (Torno a dire : senza un frigorifero come date una alternativa agli ospiti?)Ààa Peccato : occasione persa per una struttura che potrebbe essere un luogo delizioso

Helt okej boende till rimligt pris centralt i Lucca. Bara 200 m från en stor parkering där man står säkert och i stort sett gratis. Efter kommunikation på Whatsup så var det inget problem med in- eller utcheckning

Enkelt, men mycket trevligt rum

Obefintlig information om incheckning. 30 minuter efter ankomst till låst boende, kom information på WhatsApp. Men efter strul med incheckning och tillgång, får vi ett enkelt men mycket trevligt rum med sköna säng. Bra läge, ca 5 minuters promenad till stadsport en.
