"Pros. 1. Hotel was big and relatively clean 2. Food was decent. Mexican restaurant food was okay but service was slow. Italian restaurant was good. Jing was decent. Overall food was decent but not spectacular. 3.Drinks were great and options were wide. 4. Being on Maho Beach was amazing. 5. Hotel was in a nice location with stores and places to hang out outside the hotel. Cons. 1. Kiddies pool needs updating. There were also flies in the water. 2. The slides in the main pool: one was never open as the staff said it was broken. The slower slide that was open was closed most of the day as there was no lifeguard. On the Friday of our stay, the lifeguard closed the slide and went to join in the "very adult" entertainment in the swim up bar pool. The kids were left without a slide to use. 3. On the day in question (in point 2) we actually had to leave the pool because the behavior of the adults and entertainment staff in the swim up bar pool was VERY INAPPROPRIATE for children and teens. There seemed to have been multiple weddings in the hotel that day/weekend that brought some guests with inappropriate behaviour CONSIDERING THIS IS A FAMILY RESORT. 4. The Cafe needed better coffee and warm pastries. Everything was cold. The press they had to warm up sandwiches etc was not working. 5. Beds were very small. Queen beds needed."

"This hotel was a perfect find. I even extended an additional night based on the experience. You are able to walk to and from the airport, directly across from the clearest ocean water Ive ever swam in. The staff was friendly and the room accommodations are perfect for a family."

"Don’t bother booking elsewhere, this is exactly where you want to stay when visiting SM! My husband and I had no complaints and we will definitely be returning soon! We loved how the property had an abundance of everything we needed from linens, to dishes and even sunblock! The views are absolutely stunning and the gated community was safe if you have concerns on that. We never ran out of toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. For food deliveries my husband would have to go to the front to collect but the food from pineapple Pete’s was totally worth it. If we had a question communication was instant! Best Vrbo stay yet!"

"We had never been to SXM before so we weren’t really sure where to stay in relation to beaches, nightlife, restaurants etc…this place was the perfect location to all of that. The condo was perfect for our group of 4 and the resort itself was beautiful. The infinity pool, private beach, location to Mullet bay. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot."

"Just needs a little more attention to the condo. The in laws had another one condo upstairs w/ same floor plan that was so much better decorated and furnished. Living room tv, washer and ice maker needs some attention. Could be so much better but still nice overall. Great oceanfront view and service from the front desk. They pool and overall property was great. Loved that the property was gated and well secure"
