"Have stayed here for years. Overall, place is in good shape. Staff is nice. Breakfast has been cheapened a bit…..it’s still good but at one time it was GREAT!"

"The hotel was historic with nice rooms. I would have preferred a nice shower, over a tub/shower. The pillows were cheap, but plentiful, would have liked fewer higher quality. The restaurant was onsite with a good menu. Parking was easy."

"Upon arrival, we had to find the desk clerk. We were road weary and tired, so it would have been nice to have had a desk person there. The 2nd floor ice machine is still broken (noticed that from other reviews). The room was clean, bed was comfy, and shower was hot and great water pressure. Breakfast had good coffee and cereal was fresh, so that got us back on the road. If needing to stop overnight from I-77 again, I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay, immensely. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy with nice pillows. We all had a restful nights sleep. Had breakfast in the morning and went about our day. The staff is wonderful; they are professional, friendly, accommodating and they smile. The breakfast was good enough to keep a person going throughout the day. My grandsons also enjoyed swimming in the pool and lounging in the room. Parking was good and we were able to get up front parking as we came and went throughout our time there. All in all it was a great time for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s affordable and the coffee is really good."
