"Didn’t even end up staying here as after I booked and rang them to find the exact location of the hotel, they told me they didn’t have space and re-directed me a 20 minute walk to another property that was not acceptable at all. When I asked to be refunded or have my booking cancelled, they told me it wasn’t something they could do as Hotels.com needed to do. "We just did a weekend trip to Leeds and stumbled across this gem on hotel.com. It was the best stay away we have ever had in the UK! The owners were so kind and welcoming, they really do make you feel like you are a member of the family. The house itself was absolutely stunning, the garden was full of flowers with a cute vegetable patch. "A gorgeous little place with even lovelier owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Our dog loved it. Beds were lovely and comfy. Everything well equipped. In a great location - easy to find and easy access to York centre. Will definitely return when we visit York again."
