"Beautiful setting with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is charming, renovated, updated, clean, and comfortable. Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "It was such a treat to stay in this unique old house. The basement is built right into the rock hill! The house is comfortable and convenient even though it has seen so many years. The hosts did a great job decorating and taking care of it. We would love to come back on a warmer weekend and enjoy the yard. "

"The house was amazing, great views and a great layout that allowed for us to hang as a group or have some privacy. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do; Harper’s Ferry, Ziplining (or rafting based on time of year), and the Brewery that we went to on the last night felt like it was almost walking distance. Definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. "

"Our stay was great and really enjoyed the house. We had so much space to have our own time and then still be able to come together for meals and hanging in the hot tub. We now want to come back in the winter and go to the sledding hill right in front of the house! "

Owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome with many snacks/food items and amenities. Especially loved the outdoor courtyard area with fire table. "

"We stayed for 2 nights fishing, and site seeing get away. It was the perfect location!"

"The property was great for relaxing, touring local history and enjoying the recreation on the Potomac River and bike trail. We had a slight issue with the water heater, called the property contact and the problem was fixed within the hour. Excellent service and great stay. We would stay again. "

"Easy check in. House is located in a cluster of homes. Photos are misleading. Cleanliness was sub par. Linens and towels from previous guests were laying on top of the washer. Wasn’t sure if the linens and towels that we did have were even clean and fresh. Home smelled of alcohol and cigarettes. Good location."
