This was the perfect place to stay with our 2 small dogs! The large, secure backyard was perfect. It was difficult to find a place with a fenced yard IN the town of Morro Bay that didn't break the bank. Easy check-in, good communication, comfortable beds... we WILL be back!

We had a blast with our small family. Our dogs and daughter enjoyed the walkable activities, comfortable beds, and access to kitchen items. It was perfect for our family. The garage was a bonus hangout spot, the backyard was great. Neighbors were quiet but friendly. We loved the Santa Maria grill and Scrabble most!

The house was clean, tidy, and well set up. The backyard was perfect for our dogs and very nicely landscaped. We were close to several great restaurants and also not far from the beach! The host was great and provided us with perfect instructions for getting in and checking out. We would definitely recommend!

Very clean, well-kept house; spacious back yard with lovely plantings. Host was very attentive but not intrusive. Short walk to the bay, coffee shop, an Audubon and other beautiful opportunities for hiking. Overall, a very nice experience. Would recommend.

We couldnā€™t say enough good things about this house and our experience overall. Amazing location, great house fully equipped, and just a perfect spot for a vacation. Amazing running trails, so close to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Not to mention Neil is a great host and everything was so easy. We canā€™t wait to go back.

We loved our stay. Neil is the most amazing host ever and even helped us finding a sitter for our dog. So we can see Hearst Castle. The backyard is magnificent, the beds super comfortable and I fell in love with the shower. We will come back!

This awesome little place was perfect for our weekend away. All the rooms were updated and the house was walking distance to the water and great restaurants. Also just a mile away from the grocery store so when we decided to eat in, it wasn't a hassle to get food and make it in house. Neil was a great host and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

This home had all we needed for a great vacation, and even more! The home had great appliances, soft comfy beds, couch and 2 recliners to sink into while watching tv. The bay was a short couple of blocks away to stroll to. The owner is super helpful in sending tips on what sights to see (Farmer's Markets!!) Beautiful back yard with bbq's and lots of seating outside. Awesome place, we can't wait to go back!

First of all, communication with Neil was the best experience we have had in renting a property! Fabulous host. Property was clean, with comfortable beds and all the goodies you need. The game space in the garage was a blast, and the yard was heavenly. Los Osos is a gem of a town, and this house is the same. Will return for sure!

We were here for Christmas, 12/23-12/26 total of 3 nights, I came with my mom, two small dogs and we really enjoyed our stay. The backyard is fenced and was perfect for my dogs to sniff around. The beds were so comfy! and the house had great amenities, it's modern has nicely kept equipment and it is very clean. It was centrally located near a supermarket, Morro Bay and some delicious Thai food at CafƩ on 2nd, (the actual Thai restaurant, same owners, was closed) I would definitely recommend this house and I would definitely return and stay here. Although we didn't use any of these things, the garage had board games, darts, a table and bikes, how awesome is that? Thank you again!

Place is clean and we'll supplied with nice sheets and towels. Not sure if that's because the owner lives there time-to-time or for guests. We were going to give a good review, but had a heating issue and the owner was accusatory towards the issue. It was fixed within two hours but not fun. We also lost part of our deposit to a plumping issue which was after we left and claimed by there cleaner which I believe the cleaner caused. My suggestion to anyone renting this place take pictures and/or get secondary insurance.

We thoroughly enjoyed the bungalow at Los Osos! It was just perfect for my husband and me, plus our adult son, who came on vacation with us. We liked the location because it was centrally located to many engaging places at the coast. Each day we had a new place to discover. I also appreciated the use of the washer and dryer, since we were on a 3 week vacation going place to place. The upgraded renovations made the home a lovely place to stay, and the beds were very comfortable. My only suggestion is to add black-out curtains to the bedroom windows. The blinds in each of the 2 rooms did not keep out the light, and we woke up every morning at dawn. I would also change the picture that identifies the property on the VRBO website. Currently, there is a picture of the area of the harbor which is on the water. The actual property is not on the water at all. It was a bit of a disappointment at first.

All I have to say about this home is WOW. We absolutely loved it! This has been - by far - our best ever experience with VRBO or AirBnb. I really think that the pictures on this listing DO NOT do it justice. On this trip we had myself, my husband, our single friend, and our small French Bulldog. It's a two bedroom home, so more than enough room for all of us. Some reviewers have complained that this house is too small?? This place is bigger than my condo! Lol. The beds were so comfortable, as well as the couch and easy chair. The backyard is beautiful (my Frenchie loved it), the kitchen/bathroom and entire house is updated. But one of the best parts is the garage/game room. It's so cool in there! There are board games, corn hole, darts and even bikes for you to use! We had never stayed in or been to Los Osos before. We go up to SLO probably two times a year for vacation, and found this place by chance. I'm glad we did! You are so close to the water (kayaking anyone?) and the walking is excellent! Although we are a younger couple, we are not really into the crazy night life. Our idea is fun is to stroll around town during the day (either SLO, Morro Bay, Paso) but then relax back at home at night with some takeout and local brews. We had some cold nights on our stay and loved being able to curl up on the couch and watch movies with the heat on (which works great BTW). I really can't say anything bad about this place. Neil was in constant contact with us and had some great local recommendations. We didn't want to leave this place and will definitely be back! I highly recommend this rental!
