"The staff was professional, friendly and attentive. Property was well kept, rooms were nice and comfortable beds. Only issue we had was a defective toilet that was attended to but not resolved. I would suggest numbering parking spots to match rooms. Overall, the Marlo was outstanding and we would stay there again."

"They had eco friendly products in shower and bathroom sink. Shampoo conditioner all in one only worked for shampoo. Soap worked well both locations, refillable. Would have loved non dairy creamer for coffee. Fortunately brought me own and there is a fridge and microwave in room:). Room is spacious, very nicely designed."

"location is great. It's right next to Mortensens Bakery and you can walk the whole town of Solvang. 10 minute drive to Chumash casino. the staff in kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the loft unit we got was cute as was the grounds. I would definitely stay here again."

"Loved our stay. This hotel is within walking distance to every single thing in Downtown Solvang, but quietly located at the edge of town. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. We will stay here every time I return to Solvang from here on out. I would recommend a shuttle to the casino..."

"We stayed one night in between two rounds of golf we played in the area. Check in lady was very nice and helpful about recommendations for some place to eat. Ultimately we chose to eat in their bistro. It was really good! Two in our group had the fish and chips and I had the daily special of cheese tortellini in pesto sauce with a side salad….. it was all so good!! We each took advantage of the two cocktails (we all had margaritas-yum!) The complimentary, cooked to order breakfast the next morning was great too. One of us had an omelette, another had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon and I had two eggs over easy with crispy hash browns and bacon. Our room was comfortable. We’re traveling with two coolers, so the full sized refrigerator and freezer was appreciated. Would definitely stay there again!!"
