Disappointing
I loved the idea of big enough space to host 6-7 adults and it does. Owner was good about communication and the place was affordable. Pool table is an excellent amenity!
You get what you pay for? Maybe— it is a humble house with much potential but I don’t think the hosts have paid attention to detail of hosting. I struggled writing this but I hope it may help the next guests.
It was dirty and disappointing.
Dirty— anything above 5’4” was filthy — top of shower, top of range, top Of fridge. Then the windows were dirty, blinds weren’t clean and broken. The refrigerator had dirty shelves and used butter. The sponges on sink had been well used. The bathroom counter was dirty when we arrived. The grout in kitchen and bathroom tile had never been scrubbed.
Unkempt— the lawn hadn’t been mowed in a good while. The cabinetry has seen cleaner days. There was no outside seating available for the beautiful weather. The shampoo, soap etc in the shower felt like they were left behind?
The whole place could use a Coat of paint. Frankly, I was embarrassed to have hosted my family.
