Host was very responsive and the few little things were fixed very quickly.Our family enjoyed the house. Unfortunately, it rained while we were there so we didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor built-in BBQ set up.

The property listing stated the garage was available for parking IT IS NOT. There is a gate in the back where you have to park - no parking in front of the property. The gate has an automatic timer to close it. However, the sensor was not working properly and the gate hit and damaged my car. The hosts response when I reported it was less than professional and assumed no accountability. The parking is TIGHT if you have more than one car. There were empty shampoo containers in the bathrooms

We had an excellent weekend stay. Melissa is an attentive and caring host. Her home is clean, perfect for family gatherings, centrally located and in a great neighborhood.

Short and sweet

Our daughter was at a summer program at Harvard Westlake, so proximity and comfort were our two primary criterions and the property met both well. Only main issue was the Wifi speed could be improved, along with a better upgraded TV in the main living room.

This was an easy home to stay in and very centrally located to many areas of LA. We found it easy to like.

Beautiful home, many amenities.

Loved the place but it’s a little noisy outside in the courtyard area. But very close to Malibu, and Hollywood Hills and a lot of fun attarscrions!!

Awesome house!

We stayed here for two nights to go to Universal Studios. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Very easy to get to. Parking was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hosting House

We had family travel across the country and stay in several short term rentals. This house was the natural hang-out spot because it offered tremendous outdoor space and amenities in a great location. The house has oversized bedrooms. Highly recommend this house and host.

Wonderful Stay-Highly Recommend

Plenty of room for our 9 guests, well stocked, close to Universal Studios. We really enjoyed the home. The property manager was extremely helpful and fast to respond to all questions we had. We are smokers and had lots of outdoor seating to enjoy and relax. The home is on a busy street so there is some noise but the high wall made it feel like we were in our own little sanctuary. We had 4 cars due to coming from multiple states, parking was a worry at first but there was always parking available on a close by street so no problem at all. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, the claw foot tub upstairs was a real treat for soaking after walking all day at the park. Overall wonderful stay and no complaints at all.

Great location close to Universal

My family and I stayed for our trip to Universal. The location was nice, large and greay location to Universal (8 min drive). Could park two cars in the driveway and was generally easy to get in and out of the property. Owner was easy to communicate with and helped with any questions we had.

Clean, comfortable, great outdoor space

We stayed a couple of nights and used each bedroom and bathroom. All were in good working order. Beds were comfortable. There are only 2 bathrooms with showers and one is in a bedroom. Two bedrooms are upstairs, two downstairs. Upstairs have bathrooms, with one only a claw foot tub. That was a bit of a bummer with 6 of us trying to get ready at the same time. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. We mostly ordered take out. House is on busy street, so Lyft/uber eats has to park on side street or in alley. So set pin appropriately. We didn’t utilize the outdoor space, but there is great contained and private courtyard with grill, dining and seating areas. We had a large SUV and it was difficult to park in back. There is no on street parking, so you need to be able to fit vehicle. We were able to fit it in, but barely and could not open back very much to get bags out. Once secured behind gate we opted for Lyft & Uber because it was a hassle to move. A smaller vehicle wouldn’t be a problem. Not sure how two would fit. The walk to grocery is about 1/2 mile downhill, so uphill on the way back.

Ten day stay at this property

This house is ideally located and is very spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and clean. Melissa was responsive to requests for adequate kitchen tools and pots, which had not been on site. However the outdoor kitchen and space had not been cleaned in some time and all furniture was dirty. Leaves had not been swept out. Floors on the first floor were not clean. Cushions and indoor furniture were stained and shabby. There were no cleaning supplies on site to even clean outdoor furniture to make them usable. This was disappointing.

Nice location Bad cleanliness

the location and the house are perfect, but the cleanliness needs a lot of improvement, dust and stains on the sofas and chairs, hair and dust on the pillows, and blankets are pretty dusty. As soon as you open the door smells really bad
