What a lovely little space in the Pasadena area love the old home that was immaculately clean. There is not somebody on staff to greet you, but we were able to get a hold of someone we needed to. We had a room with a lot of character and a decently comfortable bed. My only downside was that the AC was hard to adjust and I wasn’t able to open the windows. I also found the AC rather loud for my personal preference. I would stay there again and just ask more detail details about the room. If you have trouble with stairs, heads up that a lot of the rooms are on the second or third story you have to go up some winding stairs, but the character of the cylon are worth it. I also heard the breakfast was great, although we did not take part of it.

This is my go to stay in LA area. Rooms are well-decorated and spacious. Great location with views from most rooms. Away from the road up on an hill in South Pasadena and onsite parking. Friendly proprietor, happy hour daily, breakfast on site (fixed menu). Could use USB ports or ways to connect devices easier. But small inconvenience in exchange for the privacy and ambience.

The room was small but clean. There was a couch which was very useful. We couldn't get the TV to work. That was disappointing. The most challenging thing about the property was the driveway. Its a one car only driveway and can be intimidating to some. The Breakfast was not complimentary if you book through Expedia. That said there are plenty of quality breakfast spots .5 miles away. For the price was good through Expedia.

We had a wonderful stay at the Arroyo Vista Inn. The location was perfect as we had an event at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The grounds were serene and quiet and the room was really nice. The breakfast was excellent every morning. Thank you to Janice and family. We will return.
