Wine Valley Inn

"We came to the Wine Valley Inn on a sunday afternoon. First impression is that the inn is very clean and were told of all the amenities and locations for ice maker, breakfast and so on. Once we got to our Junior Suite it is very nice it was two stories but only one bathroom. The room is clean but it needs some up keep. The vent in the bathroom is a little dusty and should be cleaned once in awhile. I do love the two stories, but the shared hallway couple be noise as the doors have auto closures and we could hear the door slam shut. The location is perfect minutes away from several eateries. A couple minute walk to the main street where all of the local shops are located. The breakfast is good as well. There is always someone at the front desk. Some amenites are for guest used 24/7. The staff is curtious and nice."
Skyview Hotel - 21 & Over Pool

"Nice outdoor area with great views. The swimming pool was very crowded the weekend I was there. There was a special event going with d.j. and tarot reading on property which is probably the reason I was not not able to find somewhere to lounge near pool. Passes are sold to non guests which should not be allowed since pool area looks like the size of someone's backyard. Husband and had to seat at bar area both evenings we stayed there, no place to seat near pool. Drinks and food were good. Seems like you have to get to pool area very early in morning to save your spot. Both bathroom floor and shower floor have tiling that were stained. May have not been dirty but it seems like tile needs re-caulking to make it look clean. I mentioned this to hotel reservation desk when I checked out. For high priced rooms the bathrooms should be more well kept. The rest of room was fine. Although, room I got was different from pictures of room I had reserved. Parking area is somewhat awkward. Had to park downhill one night we came back from sightseeing since parking was crowded. Stay here was o.k. just to try for 2 nights but probably would look elsewhere if I stayed in this area again."

"This is an older property, in downtown Lompoc. (A depressed area.) Though , again, the hotel is older and unimpressive from the outside, the place is CLEAN.Also, the made to order complimentary breakfast - though limited - is excellent and ALL you need to start the morning. Finally, the property has areas to walk the dog - just make sure it is leashed."

"This hotel is in a great location... easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The room is spacious, TV worked great and plenty of towels. One thing we loved was being able to tip via QR code."
