"The road leading to the hotel was filled with potholes and very treacherous. It could do damage to a car if driver didn’t go at a snail’s pace as the holes were unavoidable."

No coffee machine in the room but you can get coffee (not the best quality though) and hot water at the motel office nearby. One minor issue: GPS leads you to the back of the hotel. Would be good to emphasize that the turn to China Buffet should be taken (maybe I missed it somewhere in the description)."

"Hot water wasn’t working on The 1st day but started working on the 2nd ..One Tv was blacking out on the first night? Both tvs was blacking out in the 2nd night. For the amount of money you pay to stay here things should be working to satisfy the customers. Also, the entire resort needs remodeling. My stay was from Fri 6/19-6/21/2026. We did enjoy the 8:00pm -10:00pm shows that occurred both nights. Breakfast is overrated & dinner was horrible, well mines was (salmon rice & apparagus) ..My man...

"Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. Sink water had mislabelled Hot/Cold faucets. Water had an odor? A/C worked OK but curtain blocked the flow if closed. Shower head...

"This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s been totally refurbished and the rooms are beautifully decorated and so clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had a junior suite with a couch and outside patio. Saw deer, geese and various birds on property. The bathroom was great. Radiant heated floors and towel heating bars. This place is luxurious. "This is the vintage-looking quaint motel you pass at the edge of a town on the two lane and think, "Wonder what that place is like?" Most of the time those businesses are on the downside of their existence and not that appealing. The Fairbridge Inn is different. Neat, clean, quiet and well kept with a comfortable bed and room.. "The property is lovely and the hosts/owners Lisa and Dante were great! Comfy bed, clean room, lots of extras to do on property too!"

"My room had no closet. Weird and inconvenient. Property needed attention, weeding, etc. Room had a view that was mostly asphalt like the CVS parking lot. Housekeeping staff did nothing. I asked the to please empty the waste baskets and the did one but left the 2nd overflowing. Never once made the bed or smoothed the covers."

The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish.
