"The house is set in a leafy residential neighborhood, walking distance to the lake.The host was easy to communicate with and let us check in early which we appreciated. The apartment is on the first floor of a two story house and very quiet. Although it checks all the boxes (it was as advertised) the property could use some TLC."

Location is in an older area with places of business needing bars on the windows. Lots of fences in the area too. The actual VRBO was okay. "We rented this property for a weekend. When we arrived there were multiple issues including the heat not working, blood-like stains on the bed, ceiling fans that could not be turned off and window AC units in the windows on a 45 degree day at the end of October. We sent photos as requested by the owner to an email and then also forwarded those to his personal email (provided by VRBO) and he never responded to either email. We ended up not staying and booking a hotel instead."
