"Location was SUPERB. The only problem we had was that the blanket on the bed had a lot of different hairs on it (not ours). I think the kind of blanket attracts hair, but it was a little icky. We had bunk beds in our room, so we ended up just trading blankets. But other than that, the location was great and Mary was so sweet. Overall, good experience!"

"The Discovery Lodge is located right by a 9-hole golf course, and apparently the elk love it. We were able to see these beautiful animals without ever leaving the property, which was a highlight of our stay. It’s an easy location from which to get to downtown and to the Rocky Mountains. "The lodge was perhaps an older facility, but the interior (at least of our room) had recently been remodeled, which was very well done. The area was quiet, in a convenient location with just a short drive to town center. The staff was very friendly & focused on ensuring a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay there again."

"I liked the location. In the mountains and the trees all around. It was clean and everything worked in the room. I do prefer for the room to be air conditioned. Although it wasn’t bad without it. The fan did make it nice."
