"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. "It was a very quirky stay. Room had lovely molton brown amenities and was clean but not quiet. We booked last minute and had a dog but were allocated on the first floor which made it difficult to let the dog out. No duty night manager so I had to take my dog out the back garden unbolt the door and bolt it back again. Very quaint nice staff I just would have preferred a ground floor room for my pooch."
