"This is the former Mariner Motel, which was a dump, and the transformation is stunning! It is indeed a boutique hotel and the decor is elegant but simple. The rooftop is gorgeous. It is brand new, modern and clean. The only con was the part time front desk staff which became an issue during our stay. Our key cards were demagnetized when we returned from the beach around 5pm. No staff was on duty and we had to walk to the Spray Beach Hotel for assistance in getting our key cards activated. (Our car keys were in our room.) This was a fifteen minute walk each way and we were late for our dinner reservation. We were originally told staff leave at 9pm. There wasn’t a sign at the desk telling guests where to go for assistance either. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel! "

"First time staying here, and we will definitely be back! We stayed in a first floor ocean view double queen room with our two kids (5 and 2). It was perfect! We loved the short walk to the beach, the beautiful pool, the complimentary amenities like borrowing beach chairs, the bike parking... I could go on! The attached restaurant had delicious breakfast, and the wait staff were lovely, even with two talkative toddlers. And I must shout out the cleaning staff in particular - they were conscientious, polite, and accommodating, and the rooms were spotless. We loved our stay here. Thank you, Spray Beach! "
