"Very clean and comfortable room. Owner very lovely and hospitable. Bed was comfortable. We were sad our visit coincided with a flooding event in the area so we couldn’t only spend one night here instead of our originally planned 2 nights. Akaroa and Banks Peninsula are beautiful and we hope to come back so we can fully enjoy the area someday."

"Beautiful property and gardens. Lovely big house, clean and warm with incredible views over the harbour. Well equipped for cooking and being entertained. Quiet with comfy beds. Lots in the house to look at. Would love to stay here again and would recommend. "
