"This property was in the process of renovating the lobby and first floor. Staff did their best to work around the mess. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was somewhat makeshift due to the renovation. I have no real complaints and it appears this property will be very nice after the renovation."

"The host and staff were very friendly as well as pet friendly. I enjoyed watching the ducks. The food at the Quack Shack is delicious. This is definitely a great place for boating and fishing and there's a state park beach for swimming only 15 minutes away. The only slight issue I had was the smell of the RV sewage from the RV parked next to the cabin. It wasn't constant but at certain times of the day it was pretty strong. Cabin 2 is the only one with an RV spot right next to it."

"The property was beautiful and the house spoke for itself. I celebrated my bachelorette weekend here along with my 5 bridesmaids. It was very spacious and everyone got to have their own room. The one down fall of this property was the poor cleanliness. The house was very dusty!!!! Including the VENTS, shades, windows seals, bed frames, fans, light fixtures and the WHOLE indoor pool area. This resulted in myself, the bride, to sneeze like crazy, and having a runny nose the entire time. As someone who doesn't have allergies you would think I did. The sneezing caused my throat to start hurting. For the first time ever I took an allergy pill that did nothing for me. The amount of dust particles in the air that spread throughout the house affected everyone not just me. This did put a damper on some activities because I couldn't be my high energetic self as I was suffering. I did like the house and I would return with my whole family for holidays, but the only way I'd do that is if the property was cleaned thoroughly. Starting with cleaning the vents and neutralizing the air quality."
