We chose this hotel on the basis of its reasonable price given the fact that it’s in such a convenient location. In these respects, it didn’t disappoint. What’s more, it was kept clean throughout our stay and offered a useful left luggage service. The room was quite small, however, and very noisy - as other guests have noted - due to the proximity of trains. It could also really do with some investment regarding furniture and decor.

It's a good value for the price because the access is very convenient for tourists. The room is not very spacious, but the shower and washroom are separate. One thing that could be improved is the smell coming from the bathroom detergent; it's too strong for me. However, everything else is good.

The staff was very helpful. The luggage check in was very convenient. The location was excellent very close to Paddington station. The breakfast was very nice. The shower pressure was non existent. The room looked clean but we had some mishaps. It was very hot with no a/c and the fan wasn’t great.

Location was great , just next to Paddington station, only spoke once to staff at check in - pleasant - got in late . No lift , had to carry suitcases up three flights of stairs, Unfortunately picked the 3 hottest days ever To stay in London , and fan for room not adequate. Room was small and clean. On the ground floor so could hear and feel the subway trains which shook the room. Could hear all the water running through all the pipes from other rooms and the doors banging loudly as people went past our room. Only saw staff when we signed in and checked out. The hotel itself was decent and well located, however my room left a lot to be desired. The toilet was very inconsistent with flushing; sometimes it flushed, sometimes it didn't. The shower temperature was very difficult to control and often ended up scalding hot. My sheets were not cleaned properly; the first day I noticed a few small blood stains and I had to specifically request new sheets. Would not stay here again.

Breakfast was with added fee, pool and foosball table required pounds and front desk wouldn't help with change when we asked. One front desk person was very unhelpful and rude when we asked for towels and toilet paper because we forgot to remove the do not disturb tag while out. Friendly or courteous service like offering fresh towels to be brought up or dirty ones to be left out or picked up would have been good service. Representative was very short and uncaring. Will not be returning customers. Would recommend other spots nearby. Location was great near Paddington station/undergrounds.

Location was excellent, easy access to Paddington station. Bathroom facilities very good and the room was well equipped and comfortable. Despite being on the first floor the down side of its convenient location was the noise produced by the trains. I would not like to stay here for a week

The room was small but clean. We arrived in London during the hottest weekend of the year. The room has no air-con so was uncomfortably hot. A small fan was provided. The hotel is in a great location 10 mins away from Hyde Park. I'd stay again but not in the heat.

Very easy to check-in and found the property okay. I booked with a private bathroom which was on the top floor which had steep stairs. The room I was in smelt too much of bleach but as I only slept there it was bearable. Would book again for the price!
