I would have given this property five stars except they were doing very loud renovations in the morning. But such is life! Overall, it is modest but wonderful, exactly what I was looking for. I would stay again for sure!

The hostel is very close to the underground Russel Square . Alternatively, there are many bus stops around to take us to different places in London. Waitrose, Salisbury's and Tesco are just a 10-minute walk. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Facilites were okay but I have to say the washing machine was very strong and efficient. The cleanliness had to be improved. I consistently found flies in the room which was a bit irritating. Also, despite having a shared kitchen and laundry room, the hostel didn't provide any cooking utensils and washing powder. I ended up going out and buying a box of washing capsules in Salisbury's. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay though .

The hotel is located in the centre of London, within short walking distance from Russell Square and Holborn Tube stations or Kings Cross/ St. Pancrass railway station. Despite this, the surrounding area is very quiet which is because it's just next to Mecklenburgh Square Garden. Check-in was easily done, the room was clean and equipped with everything needed for a short stay and everything worked well. I can recommend this accommodation.

If there’s only one review you read, make it this one. Our accommodation was awful. They stuck us in a basement 5 minutes from where we checked in. The room was old, musty, had obvious water damage, and pest control units in the bathroom. We had booked a private double suite, and it was disgusting. Do not book here.
