The apartment was fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t book it again. The neighborhood was good, felt safe, and there was good coffee nearby, but the home left something to be desired from us.On the positive side, the bedding and kitchen were clean, which I appreciated. As one other reviewer stated, the bed is extremely soft, too. The bathroom felt a bit grimy (specifically in the tilework and in the shower floor), and the shower head was covered in hard water buildup; it didn’t look like it had been properly cleaned in a while. The washer and dryer also had an unpleasant smell, making laundry a bit unpleasant, and requiring us to wash our clothes again when we got home.I messaged the host prior to arriving, but never got a response. Thankfully, I was able to find the info I needed in the app, but a response or at least a welcome message would’ve gone a long way.One thing that caught me off guard: there was a noise monitoring device in the unit. These are apparently pretty common now, but it wasn’t disclosed in the listing, which it should have been according to VRBO policy. I don’t have anything to hide, but it’s the kind of thing guests deserve to know upfront. All in all the place was good. Do note that this property requires the train and underground to get to the heart of the city, or a 20-30 minute drive.
