Garden escape

Fully-detached independent living unit in the back garden of a property in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely escape. Short walk to the train station. Clean and quiet.

Got to the property it was a little condo in the garden as I walked into the garden it was like walking into an dumping site with trash bags, an old double cooker thrown out, a lawn mower, a shed that was falling overflowing with DIY and trash bags inside. The grass looked like it hasn't been cut since last year. Then, I went inside the property and the owner has used a Manchester united towel as a curtain which he said was an eyelet curtain but it wasn't it had holes cut in it and a label at the bottom. The towel rail was broken, the blind in the bathroom was broken. It was advertised as a skylight window view, this was untrue as it was completely covered in mud and branches and you couldn't see out of it. The bedding was all creased and doesn't look like it's been changed prior to my booking. The owner said he would give me two nights out of three night refund, then he changed his mind to, If I stay he will give me a 50% refund and he will clean up and fix everything while I'm in the property. He also said said lawnmower was broke that's why the grass was long, but he had plenty of time to do it before I arrived. Further, The reason I booked the property was to relax in the garden in peace. I was only in the property 10 minutes before I left and I have been given a tiny refund from the host but the host kept most of the money.
