Excellent stay at 69TheGrove. The location in Vauxhall is unbeatable for access to public transport and local venues like Brixton. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful with an early arrival. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast is delicious and cooked to order, providing a much more personal touch than your average hotel. A perfect, tranquil base for a London visit. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location close to a subway station, and central London is also only about a 30-minute walk away (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park, etc.). The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good (full English breakfast, omelettes, toast, cereals, fresh fruit, etc.). Our king-size bed was comfortable. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is expected for central London, and this wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, it’s great value for the price, and we would return without hesitation.

Super-friendly and welcoming hosts made my stay very enjoyable. Breakfasts were good and very filling. Location is very convenient: a short walk to the Vauxhall tube stop.

We were very warmly welcomed to 69 The Grove, every morning when we came down to breakfast we were made to feel part of a large family, being included with all the other guests at a large well set table, conversation was always interesting and varied, this coupled with a first class breakfast, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal and many cooked to order breakfast options (no need for lunch!) We were extremely grateful of the offer to leave our luggage prior to noon check-in having travelled overnight arriving early in the morning. Our room had everything we needed in it especially a comfy bed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, so handy for transport links and only a short walk to the Thames embankment and all the amenities there.

We really enjoyed our stay this week. The staff are so friendly and can t do enough for you and it is located two minutes from both Vauxhall stations and 5 minutes from the Thames embankment. An ideal base and highly recommended.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They checked on our travel progress from the airport to make sure they would be there. The young men that helped were also gracious and friendly The room was set up very nicely, bed very comfy,and the decor in the house was interesting and fun The neighborhood is quiet and close to restaurants and public transport David and Kanley take great pride In their homes and making sure guests have a great experience

Wonderful accommodations, the staff were friendly and inviting. The neighborhood was quiet and well-located for transit or walking to the main attractions, most were around 40-60 minutes away by foot. Just minutes from the Thames and multiple grocery stores. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. The attention to detail was impeccable, the fruit salad served every morning was always fresh, every piece was perfectly ripe. A small detail but very telling of their level of service. Truly marvelous experience, I will happily stay here again!

Cosy hotel and very nice staff, we had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights. If you like small businesses with casual and personal experience this is your place, whereas uptight people used to soulless and sterile feeling may enjoy chain hotels better. The room was spotless. It was small but had every possible amenity. But what stood out were the host and Bob. What a pleasure to come down to breakfast and be greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm. The made to order breakfasts were out of this world good! The service was amazing and the location was perfect! We had a great stay!

De kamer was brandschoon.en compleet. Alles wat je nodig kan.hebben was aanwezig. Kamer is wel erg klein en erg warm Verwarming in badjamer stond aan dus uitgezet. Maar het bleef erg warm . Gelukkig kan raam open. Rustige buurt dus geen geluidsoverlast. Kanley en David zijn uitstekende gastheren. Gezamelijk met andere gasten aan ontbijt is ook erg leuk. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk. Wordt naar wens klaargemaakt. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad.

As a solo traveler, this was such a great place to stay. The room was very clean, the staff and owner were great, and the shower was a good size. The breakfast was very tasty and I liked how they offer a variety of options. I am also a person that likes a certain water pressure for the shower and the pressure was perfect!
